New Year’s Day Levee

As with past years, Curl Bridgewater will co-host the event with the Bridgewater Legion, Branch 24 with refreshments and good cheer. Hope to see you on the 1st!

About the Tradition

The New Year’s Day Levee is a cherished tradition that was brought to New France in the 1600s and has continued throughout Canadian history. Originally hosted by the Governor General and Lieutenant Governors, it’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the start of another year in true Maritime style.

What to Expect

• Traditional moose milk and refreshments
• Light appetizers and snacks
• Meet and greet with club executives and Legion members
• Live music featuring local performers
• Cash bar available

11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Dress Code

Business casual or smart casual attire is recommended. Military personnel and veterans are welcome to wear their uniforms.

Admission

This is a free community event open to all members and non-members. Donations to support our local veterans’ programs are greatly appreciated.
